As an avid collector of American art pottery, I was thrilled by the incredible scope of this book. It’s also made me get out and search for more pieces to upgrade my collection.

Where do I go to get an antique trunk restored?
My grandmother has an antique trunk (her grandmother’s hope chest) that she’s looking to get restored/refurbished. Antique Pulver Gum Its made of metal, and has some leather straps that need replacing. Also, the inside is just carboard and I think she’d like to put fabric in it. What kind of business should I take this trunk to in order to get it fixed up? I know nothing about antiques, and have absolutely no idea where to begin.
