Keep reading this to your 3 and 4 year olds and good luck when they are teenagers. I can’t beleive so many parents think this is appropriate reading material.Based on a cat that thinks he is a dog. Cute idea. But the cat is put in his room for drawing all over the walls, told to stay out of his closet and sit in his room and think, but he never does. He jumps and then puts on his cape and plays with his skateboard and ends up in his closet where his imagination takes over. This part of the book is cute with great imagination, great vocabulary, reference to lots of Spanish words. I would enjoy this book better, if the cat was playing in his room on a rainy day(or whatever) instead of being scolded and sent to his room to think.I am all for imagination, self-confidence, but this little cat should be helping his mom clean the walls, probably not playing in his room. Sets a poor example for young children. I think maybe 6 and up would appreciate this book and learn from the vocabulary and

How hot is too hot for a whippet?
If you don’t know what a whippet is then you can’t help me because they are a very delicate Doghouse Hot and sensitive breed. I’m asking whippet owners: Is having a kiddie pool, fresh water, and a doghouse in the shade enough to keep my whippet cool during the hot Texas afternoons (heat index 90-115)? This is my first whippet.
