Is your Electricity Bill being RAISED AGAIN??
I just got an email from our electric company stating that they are raising our Equalizer Payment plan another $38, making our payment $227/month. They just got through raising it $16 a few months ago. What I don’t understand is that we have kept our air conditioner 8 degrees higher, meaning we are using LESS energy, and here we go again with our pmt being raised. I don’t understand. I have emailed them requesting that Bill Change Manual they come and do a manual reading and to give me a detailed reasoning as to why they have raised it again just within a short amount of time. It’s rediculous. We have not changed how we have use our electricty other than raising the temp this summer with our air conditioner making us use less energy. I thought this was suppose to bring our pmt DOWN?Is anyone else experiencing this? Any professional people out there working for an Electric company that can shed some light as to why this is happening?I live here in AZ, and we have APS or SRP, and you can’t change services unless you move into the district that the other company is taking care of. I don’t know what’s going on. I know it’s not right what they’re doing. We’ve done everything we can by using Energy Efficient appliances, to using less energy from our air conditioner. It just doesn’t add up. OH, this prompts another question…..going to ask it separately.
