Cooking salmon- best methods?
I want to find a reliable way to cook salmon the way my boyfriend and I like it- just barely done, very soft and moist. I think it’s nasty when it gets firm and light colored, but I don’t want it totally raw either. So what’s the best method? Oven? Broiler? Stove top? Grill? Covered Grill Cover Only or uncovered? Wrapped in foil? I’ve tried lots of ways, and sometimes it turns out really good, and sometimes, not so much. If I could find a way that always turned out great, it would be awesome. If you suggest an oven or stove, temperatures/settings would be helpful. Here are the cooking methods I have available:-Gas oven-Gas broiler-Gas stovetop-Gas outdoor grill-Electric indoor grill (Foreman)-Electric toaster ovenThe only thing we like to put on the salmon is a little butter and some Old Bay, so sauces are not preferred.Rab- would something like parchment cooking paper work? Is that what you’re talking about?
