This book was very helpful to me in understanding the very important physiological and emotional function of crying, as well as how to respond in a healthy way when my son cries. It has helped me parent my child better, and the knowledge it provides has helped my patience level as a parent.
Move or Not to Move – That is the Question?
So my husband and I (married this past October, parents to a soon to be 2 year old little girl) have lived most of our relationship via long distance. He was in the military when we courted, met up, fell in love, had a baby – again all the while he was still in the military. He got out of the military right after our daughter was born and moved to my state where we lived together for about a year. After a year he left to move back to his home state for work, because he really had no luck in finding a job where I was. So he has been away since 6/08.I’ve been working Baby Tears Bulk part time here, but our plan was in June of this year for myself and my daughter to relocate to where he was but yesterday my boss approached me and said that although not guaranteed she would more than likely want to offer me a full – time supervisory position, starting in June! She called me in and told me all this in confidence, etc. She isnt aware that I would be moving in June. When I told my husband this he took it as me choosing my work/job over himSo the dilemma is – do i take the job, almost securing more money, savings, etc for my family which requires me being away from my husband for at least another year (the max that I think I would stay) or do I move to where he is, unemployed and relying on one income for at least a year since we plan to start trying for baby 2?I’m torn especially with the economy the way it is, the bulk of the money saved is money I had coming into the relationship and just the thought of not being able to make ends meet obviously terrifies me.IdontKnow – What an odd job you are..and way off track..but I do thank you for your response albeit ridiculous and rudeChad B – You are right – he didn’t re-enlist because of her/us – Thank you for putting that in perspective
