Do you feel like school is prison sometimes?
I often feel like we are in prison sometimes. The rules they restrict us with make me feel like we are in prison. And the assistant principles at my school remind me of prison guards. They have nothing better to do then patrole the building looking for anything to complain about. Likes these rules1.) No electronics( Even some teachers admit this rule is stupid)2.)Only clear beverages in clear bottles( I had to throw out my hot Starbuck’s latte when I got to school Vending Machine Electronics because it’s not allowed. You know because I spiked it with Vodka…insert eye roll here)3.)No food in the classrooms. Even though we are starving in class. And I eat breakfast before school.4.) Our vending machines are locked till after school.( Even though they would make more money through vending machines then the cafeteria.)5.) No gum( Even though everyone still chews it. It keeps us awake and deminshes our hunger until lunch)Teens do you often feel like school is somewhat like prison? With all the restrictions we have. Yes I like school because of the education, but otherwise no. Is there anything you like about school?I know rules keep us safe. Just some rules we have are stupid. Like double standard rules on dress code. A cheerleader could walk around school with her butt hanging out of her uniform and not get in trouble, but someone wearing a nice skirt that covers her butt could be yelled at for breaking the dress code. If some teachers say the rules are stupid, yeah they must be then.
