This was purchased for a children’s program at our local library. Can’t comment on the book itself, as I haven’t read it. But shipping was fast and book was in the condition promised.

Help with a barn (more like paddock) sour pony?!?
My pony is so sweet undersaddle. But as soon as I take her out of her stall or bring her in from a ride; all she wants to do is go out in the paddock. When she’s in her field she dosen’t like coming to me. She dosen’t run away, she just walks slightly out of my reach. Further more, if she’s not facing the field in crossties, or is anxious to leave, she Sour Bolts just rears and breaks the cross ties. Like when I ride her for a long time, or all the other horses are going out she just rears, snaps the line, and starts heading for her field. She reared up today. So, I put her back in her stall as a punishment. I left her in there for like 10min.s but she started to bang her head against the door. So, I took her out, halting every couple steps. She was fine, until we got in the gate. I couldn’t get her halter off fast enough, so she kept pulling. Then when I got it off, she bolted in a full gallop right in front of me. She almost ran me over. She also slipped a bit in the tranistion form being still to a gallop. I don’t want her to hurt herself! How can I make her stop rearing? And how can I make her have nicer manners when being put out/ coming back in?
