While this book covers a vast area of gumball machines and what they should and should not look like, there are a few that were made that are not in here. However, the ones that are in this book are described in detail. They are also shown with the wrong parts so you can tell if it is original or not (good idea). This is an excellent book for the beginning gumball machine collector or for the avid collector. Overall this is an excellent start to an enjoyable hobby.

I had a candy vendor using my store for his candy machine not to long ago,?
and I noticed the money his machine was bringing in, so I decided to buy one for myself, and let the candy vendor go. So today the candy vendor came in like Gumball Vendor to pick up his machine, and the first thing he says about my machine is that it’s illegal cause it’s metal and it’s not FDA approved. So I was like hmm thats funny that the company never told me it is wrong to have a metal gumball machine. So I called the company and tI spoke to the owner, and he says he has never had a problem with the machines but would not tell me is they are FDA approved or not. So please any vendors out there please tell me whats the deal.
