I ate a box already, but I dunno, I don’t feel any different yet. How long before these things are supposed to hit?

Do you think having an all-dessert reception will be too heavy and cause guests to feel sluggish?
My fiancé are planning to have a gourmet dessert reception with a dozen or so different types of desserts. In addition, there will be fruit, wafers and lighter desserts offered for those who prefer something lighter. My dilemma is whether the dessert Wafers Assorted idea will leave guests feeling sluggish and tired causing them to leave much later in the evening than they would if they were served a lighter dinner fare. I really do love the idea of the all-dessert reception, but I recently heard David Tutera say that heavy foods will cause guests to not feel like doing anything (i.e. dancing or taking part in the festivities). What do you guys think?P.S. – Here are some examples of what we will be serving:White Chocolate Mousse w/Raspberry SauceAssorted CheesecakesPecan Balls w/Chocolate SauceAssorted Pies8 Varieties of CupcakesTiramisuIce Cream (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla) w/ToppingsFruit Tray(And a few more things that I cannot think of right now)
