This guide is perfect for the Newbie to the Pinball hobby. It is written in clear concise language that is easy to absorb. It certainly has answered a number of my questions as I dove into buying my first game. It is broken down in a very logical fashion and approaches each major component of a Pin to make the subject easier to digest and certainly less daunting.

My only wish is that it had some actual photographs of some of the examples of the subject matter at hand within the book. There are tons of illustrations which helped immensely but some photos would help get your head around few of the subjects better.

What was the name of the late 70’s – early 80’s toy baseball pitching machine?
The machine was in the shape of a kid and his arm would Toy Machine sling wiffle-type balls to you underhanded. The front of the machine was a sticker of a blonde headed kid in a baseball uniform. I want to say it was “baseball Buddy” or “ballgame buddy” but I can’t find any references to this online.It wasn’t Batter Up…
