The thread won’t catch on my sewing machine.?
Okay, I am VERY new at sewing and don’t even know the names of half of the things on my machine. I have a cute little purple Pixie machine made by Singer. I bought this machine after taking a sewing class Machine Purple at school and liking it and wanted to keep sewing. The first machine I bought had a short circuit problem so we took it back, we got a new one, the exact same one.The problem is, the bottom thread won’t catch with the top thread. Every time I try it just doesn’t work. I know the top is threaded right but they just won’t catch! I can’t take this machine back, I got it around Christmas time! Is there anything I can do to fix it!? I am trying to make my nephew Mickie Mouse pillows for his room, lol.
